Autor

Kern Alexander holds the Professorial Chair in International Financial Law and Corporate Governance at the Faculty of Law, University of Zurich and is part-time Professor of International and European Banking Regulation at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. He is the author of many research articles and books, including Principles of Banking Regulation (2019) and Global Governance of Financial Systems (2006). His report, 'Stability and Sustainability in Banking Reform: Are Environmental Risks Missing in Basel III' (2014) was the first study of the interrelationship between banking regulation, environmental sustainability, and climate change.
Matteo Gargantini is Assistant Professor of Business Law at the University of Genoa. Previously, he worked at the University of Utrecht and at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law. Before joining the academia, Matteo served at CONSOB, the Italian Financial Markets Authority. He is academic member of the Consultative Working Group for Corporate Finance of the Issuers Standing Committee at ESMA, the European Securities and Markets Authority.
Michele Siri is a Full Professor of Business Law at the University of Genoa and an adjunct professor at the Luigi Bocconi University and the LLM programme in EU Financial Regulation at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Since 2018, Michele has been a member of the Board of Appeal of the European Supervisory Authorities, of which he was appointed as chairman in 2021. He is an academic member of the Italian Financial Markets Authority (CONSOB) advisory committee.
