He is the author of Redefining European Economic Integration (Cambridge University Press, 2018) and has been awardee of the 2018 ECB Legal Research Programme scholarship. He is a member of the Academic Board of the European Banking Institute.
Fabian Amtenbrink has published extensively on legal aspect of European economic and monetary (policy) integration and the European Banking Union. He is author of the widely-cited The Democratic Accountability of Central Banks: A Comparative Study (1999). He is a member of the editorial board of the European Law Review and co-editor of Nijhoff Studies in EU Law. He is a member of the Academic Board of the Erasmus Centre for Economic and Financial Governance.
Jakob de Haan published extensively on issues like public debt, monetary policy, central bank independence, banking, and European integration. He is member of the editorial board of Public Choice, European Union Politics, the Journal of International Money and Finance, and the Journal of Common Market Studies. From 2009-2020 he has been Head of Research of De Nederlandsche Bank.
