He is the author of The Battle for Asia: From Decolonization to Globalization (2004); editor of From Nation-Building to State-Building (2007); co-editor (with Douglas A. Borer) of The Long War: Insurgency, Counterinsurgency and Collapsing States (2008) and editor of After the Third World? (2008). He isco-author (with Heloise Weber) of Rethinking the Third World: International Development and World Politics (Forthcoming 2011).Heloise Weber is Lecturer in International Relations and Development Studies at the School of Political Science and International Studies, The University of Queensland. She has published articles in Review of International Political Economy, Review of International Studies, Third World Quarterly and Globalizations. She is co-author (with Mark T. Berger) of Rethinking the Third World: International Development and World Politics (2010). She is also working on a monograph Organizing Poverty: The Global Politics of Microfinance.
