Jem Packer is an award-winning children's author and cartoon strip writer for Private Eye. He is also one half of Knife and Packer, who have written and illustrated more than 30 books for children. Jem's greatest claim to fame is appearing on stage with Sir Paul McCartney as half a pantomime horse. He is a winner of the Laugh Out Loud Book Award and lives in London with his family.
Emily Fox graduated from University College Falmouth with a first-class degree in illustration. She has illustrated many children's books including Elephant's Pyjamas (HarperCollins) and Fabio the Flamingo (Bloomsbury). Emily loves experimenting with colour and spends hours drawing in her sketchbook, mostly in her favourite blue pencil crayon. She lives in Bristol.
