John Rice, an Episcopal priest, followed God's call in 2012 to ""encourage, equip, and empower"" others for Jesus' healing ministry. God opened many doors for him to become a popular conference speaker. He developed the teaching series ""Equipping the Saints for Jesus' Healing Ministry."" Rice currently serves as director of The Blessing Place of Western North Carolina, an ecumenical ministry of blessing and healing. Rice and his wife, Debra, live in Leicester, North Carolina.
