Tomás Svoboda is researcher, university lecturer, and Director of the Institute of Translation Studies, Charles University, Czech Republic. Formerly, Tomás worked in-house with DGT EC, Luxembourg, and as a contractor for the ECB, Germany. He is a member of the EMT board, and his numerous publications focus on Institutional Translation Studies, tools and technologies in translation, and theoretical Translation Studies.

Åucja Biel is an Associate Professor of Linguistics and Translation Studies and Head of EUMultiLingua research group in the Institute of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw, Poland. She is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Specialised Translation. She has published extensively on EU/legal translation, legal terminology, translator training and corpus linguistics, including the book Lost in the Eurofog. The Textual Fit of Translated Law (2014).

Vilelmini Sosoni is Assistant Professor of Economic, Legal and Political Translation at the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece. She is the vice-president of the Greek Association for Translation Studies and a founding member of the Greek chapter of Women in Localization. She has published extensively on EU translation as well as translation and technology.
